I had some user feedback that showed the link was not being found before in the previous position (too small maybe). Also I wanted it to be available always from a profile. I chose the quick links header just because its in the top and near other evis related links. Not saying its perfect though ;-)

The go menu looks weird, where am I going? And why did you put it in the quick links header? it doesn't really have anything to do with it... Also I can now select something with it for example on a read evis page, where it doesn't have any context. What problem were you trying to fix?
I'd rather say, leave it only on pages that display inbox, posted, ... and put it somewhere with the follow, direct message buttons reading change view. Or even next to the quick evis, we have some space there.
